Create, shoot and star in your own silent comedy film
From Charlie Chaplin to Buster Keaton, from The Kid to The Artist, silent comedy has delighted generations of film-goers. At LOCO’s School of Slapstick you can create, shoot and star in your own silent comedy film, working with our professional theatre tutors, cameraman and editor. Each School begins with a screening of classic silent comedy shorts, after which we’ll train you in silent comedy acting skills. We’ll then work with you to devise your own scenarios, which our cameraman will film. We supply the props and costumes, you supply the comic genius. The session ends with a screening of your film, and we can send you a DVD the next day.
An unforgettable experience for adults, companies and kids
We run different Schools of Slapstick for adults, companies and kids. We can also create special Schools for parties or corporate events, tailored to your requirements,. School of Slapstick is a fun, interactive, creative experience for anyone hoping to discover their inner Buster Keaton, and because it’s silent you don’t even need to learn your lines. Groups are no larger than 25 for adults and 15 for children, so everyone gets to play a part.
